Saint Joseph of Cupertino was a Franciscan Friar and Priest. He is sometimes known as the Flying Friar because he would rise from the ground while saying the Mass or praying. St. Joseph would often go into a spiritual ecstasy where he’d be so captivated by his conversation with God that he didn’t notice anything or anyone around him.
His feast day is September 18th. He is the patron saint of students and aviators.
Prayer to St. Joseph of Cupertino
O Great St. Joseph of Cupertino who while on earth did obtain from God the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew, obtain for me a like favour in the examinations for which I am now preparing.
In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked. I will also imitate your life of prayer and devotion
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
St. Joseph of Cupertino, Pray for us.
Amen
