Marc Postiglione grew up in a family of six children, originally from Staten Island, New York. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Long island University and a Master of Arts Degree in Theology with a concentration in moral theology from St. Joseph’s College and Seminary in Yonkers, New York.
After deciding that he would not become a priest, Marc worked as the Director of Religious Education for St. Joseph’s Church in Bellevue, Iowa. He also taught theology for Newman High School in Sterling, Illinois and was the At-Risk-Coordinator at Marquette, High School also in Bellevue.
After returning from the Midwest, Marc has been teaching at Union County College for the past thirteen years, nine of which have been as the Coordinator of the Sport Management Program for the College. He is an Assistant Professor of Business and has also taught classes in World History, American History, Freshman Seminar, Concepts of Health and Wellness and an Introduction to Golf class. Marc has served as the assistant golf coach for the college for thirteen years.
In addition to his full-time teaching work, Marc and his wife Sarah are active in their home parish of St. Anne’s. Marc coordinates the Confirmation Program and serves as leader of the Parish liturgical ministry. Sarah, Marc, their son David and daughter Clare live in New Jersey. Marc has a passion for teaching and working with young adults. He loves every second of his weekend time with Sarah, David and Clare. His hobbies include golf, reading and anything outdoor related.
