Christ is Risen! Truly, He is Risen! Indeed He is Risen!
Hello Seton Homeschool families!
In our Catholic homeschool families, we need to remind our children about the joy of Easter because of the promise of Easter: eternal and perfect happiness with Jesus in Heaven.
Sometimes in our daily teaching, we can momentarily forget why we have chosen home schooling. Our home schooling is for the purpose to teach our children that God created all of us to share in His eternal and perfect happiness.
Home Schooling is for our family to live together, to learn together, to be joyful together, to pray together, to care for each other…all with the assurance that this family time is only a small foretaste of the eternal happiness to come.
While the sights and sounds of Easter with our children give us Earthly happiness, we must remember to teach them that “eye has not seen and ear has not heard, the wonderful Heavenly home God has prepared for those who love Him.” While our love and teaching can make only an imperfect education for our children, we must teach them with all our mind and all our heart that God is making a perfect home for our family in Heaven.
During this Easter season, as the flowers bloom forth, we are reminded that Jesus wants to renew our hearts as parents, and He wants to renew the hearts of our children, so that we can all turn to Him for the daily lessons He is so anxious to teach us.
Let us remember every day the presence of Jesus and His Blessed Home Schooling Mother Mary. Let us Remember the brightest moments of Easter, the glorious Risen Jesus Who is always by our side, wanting to shed His Glorious Light on our mind and soul. Jesus wants to remind us every day that we are homeschooling to bring our children closer to Him Who loves us so!
Every day offers an opportunity to remind each other about how much Jesus loves us. That’s what homeschooling is all about: Reviewing and Renewing the lessons of Love and Sacrifice that Jesus made for us and learning those lessons for us to Love and to Sacrifice for each other.
Don’t be worried if you can’t teach it perfectly. Because the perfect lesson of homeschooling is taught, and learned, in our Heavenly Home.
That last lesson is of perfect and enduring love.
Christ is Risen! Indeed, He is Risen, Truly He is Risen!
All of us at Seton Home Study School wish you and your family all the best of the blessings from Our Lord during this Holy Easter Season. Indeed He is Risen!
