What Would You Ask For?

In the third chapter of 1st Kings, the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream and said to him, “Ask for whatever you want Me to give to you.”

Solomon asked the Lord to give him wisdom so that he could govern the Lord’ people Israel wisely.

The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this, and He said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or for wealth for yourself, nor have you asked for the death of your enemies, I will do what you have asked.”

If you were the one to whom Christ appeared in the middle of the night with that same offer, what would you ask for and why? If Christ granted your request, how do you believe your life would change?
