In his second letter to the Corinthians St. Paul reminded the followers of Christ that “we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Cor 5:7).
As believers we are instructed to walk in the Catholic faith no matter what is taking place in our lives. When we allow our senses (such as how we feel or what we are able to see with our own two eyes) to govern how we walk through life’s circumstances, we run the risk of stumbling and falling. This is because we are focusing on our circumstances instead of our Heavenly Father and what He has promised us in His Word.
As you presently going through a walking-by-faith-not-by-sight moment in your life right now?
Write out what you are feeling and learning as you go through this process. If you have already gone through such a moment, how did this help you to grow in your faith and your understanding of God? What did you learn?
