Parental Report Card?

As homeschoolers, we all feel warm and fuzzy all over when Johnny finally masters his ABCs or Susie successfully memorizes her multiplication table.

In moments like these, it’s easy to see a reflection of our teaching abilities in our children’s success. But what happens when Johnny completes a worksheet with 20 problems on it, and gets 12 of them wrong?

How do we feel then?

Do you sometimes make the mistake of using your child’s progress as your own report card?

If so, why is this?

What are your reflections concerning this issues?

Break out your pencil, whip out a notebook, and let’s journal!
